BookPizza ("we", "the Service") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• When you sign in with Kakao: your Kakao member ID and Kakao nickname.
• When you sign in with Google: your Google account ID and the name on your Google account.
• When you sign in with Apple: your Apple user ID, and your name only if you choose to share it.
• Chosen at sign-up: your language (한국어 or English), which decides the community you join and where book search results come from.
• Content you create: your nickname (changeable at any time), your shelf (books read, reading and want-to-read), reviews (star ratings, comments, tags and whether each review is public), books and chapters or stories you add, likes, follows, and reports you submit.
• Push notifications: a push notification token for your device, if you allow notifications.
• Collected automatically: advertising ID (Android advertising ID or iOS IDFA), device and connection information, and app usage records, collected through Google AdMob and Firebase to show ads and keep the Service running. On iOS, we use the IDFA only if you allow tracking.

We do not collect your email address, phone number, profile photo or location.

Device permissions

• Camera: used only to scan the ISBN barcode on a book's back cover. The camera image is never stored or sent; only the ISBN number is used to search for the book.
• Photos (add only): used only to save review card images you create to your photo library. We never read or browse your existing photos.

2. How we use your information

• To identify you and sign you in
• To show your profile under your nickname and let other users find you
• To provide your shelf, reading stats, reviews, likes, follows and the social feed
• To search for books and show book information (cover, description, contents, category)
